AirAsia (www.airasia.com) understands the old adage that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
Its 10th birthday “Free Seats” promotion -- running from September 21-25 -- to destinations such as Langkawi (Malaysia), Singapore, Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and Hat Yai (Thailand), valid for travel between May 3 and Oct 27, 2012, while generous, isn't fully gratis.
Extras such as fuel surcharges, seat choice, luggage and taxes still have to be borne by the passenger.
